About Ecstatic Dance
Ecstatic Dance is a free-form ceremony where participants move & dance however they wish. It is a safe, inclusive & welcoming space that allows you to commune with the music and express yourself through movement. It is a community built on sobriety, kindness, respect, music & mindfulness.

During a 90 minute ceremony our Facilitator will help you set your intentions with an opening meditation. Then our DJ takes you on an eclectic musical journey to provide you with the soundtrack for your journey. And after the music slows and the ceremony concludes the Facilitator leads a closing circle where participants share their experiences.
Ecstatic Dance is NOT...
*a party. It can be fun and celebratory, with connectivity and community.
*therapy. It can be therapeutic as the dancer explores all the energies that course through them and experience release.
*a performance. There is no one to impress, you might be inspired by others in your expression but ultimately your movements are your own.
*a dance class. You are you own teacher, your body will tell you how to move.
